Sinharaja Rainforest
Southwest Sri Lanka’s Sinharaja Forest Reserve is a unique UNESCO World Heritage site. It is a model tropical rainforest habitat, covering an area of about 11,187 hectares. Sinharaja is recognized for its exceptional biodiversity, which includes a large number of indigenous species of both plants and animals.
